Industrial & Domestic Coating Services came to Total Brand for a new website and promotional materials. We decided that with a little extra work the entire IDCS brand could be lifted and refreshed. A modernised typeface and dash of colour did the trick.

Event management consultants Double Meridian approached Total Brand with their first draft proposal for the Scottish Masters tennis event to be held in Glasgow in 2009. They required a powerful brand identity to drive their initial proposals for partners and funding through sponsorship. The solution: a modern representation of scottish tennis.

Escape Images concentrates on providing high quality travel and nature photography for private and commercial use. With a full overhaul of the website underway the brand was in need of a refresh. Brand Identity: Wild Wonders of Europe
Wild Wonders of Europe Brand Development

Wild Wonders of Europe is the biggest ever European photography project, setting out to explore and record the richness and diversity in wildlife this continent has to offer. The project wanted to connect with Europe's strong natural heritage so research into our cultural connection with nature was needed in order to produce a brand with true meaning behind it. The result stemmed from a Pictish stone engraving of a Roe Deer. Care was taken to select a typeface that would compliment the brand symbol and inject a modern twist, connecting our heritage with today.

Scottish Wildcat Association Brand Development

The Scottish Wildcat Association approached Total Brand looking for a powerful brand to help promote their cause of saving the endangered Scottish Wildcat. Getting the image of the Wildcat itself proved most difficult in this case with options spanning from the more detailed to minimal and contemporary.

METS Brand Development

Working in connection with Marketing consultant Big blue Star, Total Brand developed a range of proposals for Dossan Babcock's internal METS communication programme. METS aims to encourage the workforce to look at projects from a different angle in light of Doosan Babcocks new contract with British Energy. A strong 'team' brand was developed in order to give the project some flare that the workforce could get behind.

Brand Identity: Rewilding Childhood
Rewilding Childhood Brand Development

Inspiring families to take their children into the outdoors and connect with nature, Rewilding Childhood approached Total Brand for some creative inspiration. The solution developed for the project explores the 'hands on' connection using a splash of paint and the help of some children. A loose, hand drawn typeface completed the child like, friendly approach, making for a very colourful, cheery brand that can drive the project.

Tooth & Claw Brand Development

Tooth & Claw is an exploration of man's relationship with wild nature, particularly the predators that live alongside us, competing for our land and food. The projects partners Peter Cairns and Mark Hamblin approached Total Brand with a need to refine their brand and strengthen its use through the production of brand guidelines.

Brand Identity: Use Me Again
Use Me Again Brand Development

Use Me Again is a project developed by Perth and Kinross Council aimed at reducing the amount of plastic bags we use and to encourage the use of long life bags instead. A bright and vibrant brand was required for their reusable cotton bags and all marketing and communications material. Total Brand integrated the bag theme into the branding, which combined with a bright typeface made for an inviting, 'shopper friendly' image.

Love2Recycle Brand Development

Love2Recycle is the new mobile phone recycling arm of A-Novo. Working with Marketing consultant Big blue Star, Total Brand developed this modern, dynamic range of brand identities which reflected the company's new approach to the mobile phone recycling market. Each identity represents a different theme: Recycling, Environment, Mobile Phones and Love. A very bold solution which communicated the high aspirations of this relative newcomer to a competitive marketplace.

Kis-Clip Brand Development

Kis-Clip is the brand name of a new bra clip currently being developed for the lingerie industry. Based in London, Kis-Clip required a soft, sexy brand that reflected the aesthetics of the product and its values. The strapline 'Comfort and Style' was developed to sit alongside the brand. A curvacious typeface and evocative colour palette competed the effect.

The Willy Wallace Hostel, based in Stirling required a little modernising of its marketing materials. One part of this was taking their well loved 'Willy Wallace' character and giving him a bit of an overhaul. A bright, modern solution was developed with some handy illustration work. Willy Wallace now has a new spring in his step.

InsureDirect.co.uk required a new brand for their company but were unsure what route to take. Total Brand developed a series of proposals, ranging from the classic, dependable, to a friendly 'mascot driven' approach. They decided the strong, business focussed approach was their safest option with a trustworthy, dependable feel.
